Is there some rule that you need to applaud someone/something by dissing other??
In India, be it Football vs Cricket, BJP vs AAP, Liberals vs Bhakts, Messi vs Ronaldo, Sachin vs Bradman, Samsung vs Apple(and many more such cases) it has sort of become a custom that you need to praise one and lampoon its counterpart.
When it comes to opinions, values, statements, and behaviours, many people have an ignorant or a blind follower’s mindset.
Cacophonic discussions while trying to prove your point often results in spats between friends.
Thinking with an unbiased perspective and increasing the level of tolerance seems to be the the only solution (apart from ignorance)
Life is too short to hold grudges and harbor bitterness over petty arguments.
